I chose this couch because it would arrive a few months sooner than any other I could find online. I'm very happy with my decision! The emerald velvet is absolutely gorgeous in person. I can't speak to longevity, as I've only had it for a month. However, it seems sturdy and well made. The chaise is super comfortable.
